RESTORATIVE /NIDRA

Restorative/Nidra is a gentle class that starts with the use of props to find comfort in poses for extended periods of time. This allows you to tip the balance from “fight or flight” to relaxation. The class will then move into yoga nidra, or “yogic sleep”…the practice of non-doing. This is a methodical guided relaxation, practiced in savasana allowing you to connect to your breath while doing a body scan with guided imagery where you will find yourself rested, relaxed and restored.

Mindful Meditation

Mindfulness Meditation is a brief 20 min. practice of mental training teaching you to slow down and calm your mind and body. You will focus on mindfulness of breath, body, and your surroundings with simple instructions. Guidance is provided throughout the practice while also allowing space for each practitioner’s individual experience. This is one of many tools to help you find that quiet, calm place inside.
