Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced passive stretching of the fascia, tendons and ligaments with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Yin Yoga is for all levels, all body types and all ages. Most of the practice is done on the floor. Yin class starts slowly and progresses deeper into longer held postures. It has been called the “One Hour Adult Nap Time” class.
RESTORATIVE /NIDRA
Restorative/Nidra is a gentle class that starts with the use of props to find comfort in poses for extended periods of time. This allows you to tip the balance from “fight or flight” to relaxation. The class will then move into yoga nidra, or “yogic sleep”…the practice of non-doing. This is a methodical guided relaxation, practiced in savasana allowing you to connect to your breath while doing a body scan with guided imagery where you will find yourself rested, relaxed and restored.


Mindful Meditation
Mindfulness meditation is a half hour practice of mental training teaching you to slow down, let go of negativity, and calm your mind and body. You will be guided through meditations which will allow you to focus on the now, accepting your thoughts and feelings without judgement. This is one of many tools used to help you find peace and contentment in life.
