Michelle Demars

Owner/Yoga Instructor

Michelle Demars is a certified yoga instructor and registered nurse who loves sharing the healing powers of yoga with grace and a light spirit.

Michelle is a perpetual student with a daily meditation and self-study practice. Students are encouraged to find new levels of possibilities in their bodies and minds to bring that off the mat and into their daily lives.

Michelle lives in Tamworth with her husband where she loves to garden, bike, trail run, snowshoe, ski, play with grandkids and of course…practice yoga!

Katherine Meek

Katherine Meek

Slow Flow for Stress Relief Teacher

Katherine Meek is drawn to the healing power of yoga.  She is a problem solver by nature, and is keen on developing wellness solutions involving movement and self expression.  A Marine veteran, Katherine understands first hand the effects of stress on the mind and body, and is eager to support those on a healing journey.

When she is not teaching yoga, Katherine enjoys forest bathing, sprint workouts, reading and learning along side her three young children.

Katherine is a 200 hr RYT.  She has an additional 100 hr certification in trauma sensitive yoga, and a certification in applied polyvagal theory in therapeutic yoga.  She is currently pursuing a 100 hr certification in yoga for brain health.
DENISE CALISE

Denise Calise

26/2 Original Hot Yoga Instructor

Denise Calise has taken various forms of yoga classes over the years, but it wasn’t until turning 50 in 2014 that she started practicing the Original Hot Yoga regularly and she completed her certification in 2017. After serving 32 years in the US Army, deployments and several knee and foot surgeries; she needed a way to heal and safely stretch her body, plus get a tremendous workout! This yoga has changed her life and truly is medicine and just what the body (and mind) needs! She tells everyone she meets to come and try Original Hot Yoga.

Lauren practices yoga as a way to build strength, stability, and inner awareness. Lauren completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training from Dragonfly Yoga Studio in 2020. Becoming a yoga teacher has transformed her practice and understanding of herself. Lauren believes that yoga is for everyone and offers a thoughtful, strong, and creative vinyasa flow class. Outside of yoga, she enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and playing with her rescue pup Strawberry.

Sam completed his 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Sangha Studio in Burlington, VT. Sam’s classes are accessible held spaces with lots of options and opportunities to feel into your edge. An intentional yoga practice helps to build a foundation of self-knowledge and autonomy. Expect breathwork, mindfulness, and alignment-based asana. Sam teaches Vinyasa Flow and Slow Flow. Sam is pursuing additional certifications in Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra.

Christine Free completed her 200 HR-YTT in November of 2014 in Hatha yoga while living in North Carolina. Yoga has redirected and saved her in so many phases and stages of her life. Christine loves the opportunity to lead individuals on their yoga journey. She is a full time LCMHC and a reiki practitioner. She always tries to bring elements of healing into her practice and the classes that she leads. Christine is a NH native and tries to be outside and near water as much as she can.

In 2009, Annemarie Green graduated from Spa Tech Institute of Ipswich Massachusetts. She has since pursued a career in Holistic and Therapeutic healing. The last decade, as a Massage Therapist, has been a quest for knowledge and spiritual fulfillment. Annemarie’s modalities include: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Pre and Post Natal, Hot Stone, Cupping, Aromatherapy and Polarity (energy work). Annemarie’s passion for helping others heal through Therapeutic bodywork has brought her here to White Mountain Hot Yoga. Annemarie loves spending time with her husband Alex, family and her 3 dogs. She also loves gardening, horses and yoga.
